Agency History

      In August of 1953, A. Doyle Holman purchased a small Independent Insurance Agency in Camden, Alabama from the Estate of Joe M. Moore.  The name was changed to Holman Insurance Agency.  

     Billy Malone was employed as an agent on January 1, 1963.  

      Holman Insurance Agency Inc was officially incorporated on January 18, 1963 with A. Doyle. Holman as President, Billy Malone as Vice-President and LaJunta S. Malone as Secretary/Treasurer.       

       Doyle Holman retired in 1978 and Billy Malone purchased the majority of the agency.  William Malone, Jr. began as a full time employee and agent in the summer of 1993.  

       After 52 years in the insurance business, Billy Malone retired on December 31, 2015.  

       William Malone, Jr. currently serves as President and continues to operate the agency serving Wilcox County and beyond with a variety of insurance products.
